Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - Start Time 06:00/07:00 - to finish (must be flexible as working day may be up to 12 hours per day depending on location of drops)

Location: Ashton under Lyne, OL7 0AX

We're now looking for an experienced Van Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Delivery of palletised goods to customers UK wide in a 3.5 ton Bedford Van with tail lift.
  • Liaising with customers at site drop off, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
  • Regular completion of vehicle checks.
  • Manual handling of customer products.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Hold a valid Class B driving license.
  • Have no more than 3 penalty points on license.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years van driving experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and good problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of delivering goods UK wide.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours - finish times will vary with this role, shifts can sometimes be up to 12 hours per day (overtime is paid at x 1.5 after 8 hours).
