We're now looking for a Transport Shift Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements at East Midlands Gateway.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Accountable for the delivery of all aspects of the shift operation ensuring the delivery of efficient & customer focused service
- Accountable for driver and fleet compliance in line with legal and DHL standards
- Conduct effective daily brief/debrief, performance dialogues and ensure the recording of accurate data
- Management of driver teams performance, training and record keeping
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Previous experience in a management role
- Previous experience in a transport environment
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage, organise and train direct reports
- Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages (desirable)
- A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well-received
