We're now looking for a Transport Planner to play a vital role ensuring continuous improvement of planning processes within the transport department.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Responsible for the delivery of efficient and profitable transport plans
- Meeting the Network KPI's and exceeding the customer SLA's
- Using ConnectTMS to build loads, create routes, allocate vehicles, trailers and driver resource to planning deadlines
- Providing real time monitoring to ensure that work is being completed within the given timeframes
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Have previous transport and route planning experience is essential, ideally working with FMCG customers
- Possess a strong understanding of Driver Regulations and the Working Time Directive
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with a logical, analytical approach
- Communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
