We\βre now looking for a Transport Network Planner to develop and optimise efficient transport routes across our network, ensuring cost effective and timely delivery solutions.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Responsible for the delivery of efficient and profitable network transport plans.
- Ensuring that network KPI\βs are met and customer SLA\βs are exceeded.
- Use of ConnectTMS β a bespoke software, building loads, creating routes and allocating vehicles within planning deadlines.
- Ensuring continuous improvement of the transport network, increasing customer satisfaction and improving the cost effectiveness of transport and planned routes.
- Working with a range of departments and people at different levels in transport, warehouse, as well as end point customers and DHL customers.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previous experience in route planning across a Transport Network of different sites and customers is essential
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are essential
- Must be able to work well under pressure, whilst meeting strict deadlines
- Strong IT skills are essential, using Microsoft Office and Teams. Previous experience of planning systems is advantageous
