DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking an experienced Transport Clerk to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of all transport scheduled activities.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Escalation of colleague and driver issues
- Accountable for ensuring system compliance, e.g., Logics, DPM, and transport systems
- Fostering an environment that promotes sharing of ideas and best practices to benefit the network
- Manage and review Transport KPIs, to identify KPLs, Fleet Utilisation, PvA Hours, and POA, and support improvements
- Manage operational costs and identify cost performance trends, e.g., fuel performance, accidents
- Promote a positive transport/network culture, supporting EOS initiatives
- Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures in accordance with company policy
- Process paperwork such as invoices
- Operate IT systems as required
- Deliver high-quality, customer-focused service
- Perform general admin tasks
