Overview
We are looking for a Transport Night Shift Clerk to work to work for a dynamic teams
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Operating IT-systems as required
- Dealing with driving and warehouse colleagues
- Complying with local legislative requirements & company policies and procedures
- Processing paperwork relating to driver deliveries
- Comply with appropriate working time legislation
- Ensure drivers are correctly briefed and debriefed at the beginning and end of the day\’s work
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Receive direction regarding work assignments
- Good communication skills
- Ability to supply reports within timescales
- Previous experience working in a transport office – desirable
- Experience using IT systems particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good understanding of Web based programs i.e. Microlise / Tachomaster – desirable
