Overview

We are looking for a Transport Night Shift Clerk to work to work for a dynamic teams

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

  • Operating IT-systems as required
  • Dealing with driving and warehouse colleagues
  • Complying with local legislative requirements & company policies and procedures
  • Processing paperwork relating to driver deliveries
  • Comply with appropriate working time legislation
  • Ensure drivers are correctly briefed and debriefed at the beginning and end of the day\’s work

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

  • Receive direction regarding work assignments
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to supply reports within timescales
  • Previous experience working in a transport office – desirable
  • Experience using IT systems particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good understanding of Web based programs i.e. Microlise / Tachomaster – desirable
