The predicted salary is between 41200 - 41200 € per year.

Pay Rate: £41,200, includes a Shift Premium, 17%. Grade: L. Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time). Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm to 2pm to 10pm. Location: Birmingham.

A typical day may involve:

  • Monitoring SCADA, WCS, SAP and CCTV to maintain the smooth and efficient flow of the automation, escalating issues directly to Dematic Engineers.
  • Reporting planned maintenance and downtime in advance via established methods.
  • Escalating issues and engaging with stakeholders to resolve them whilst minimising the operational impact.
  • Supporting Maintenance provider in review of SCADA data to identify reoccurring mechanical downtime and plans in maintenance with the engineering team.
  • Correct operation of both Pick Control and Rework Control, releasing picks and rework in line with system driven 'Action By' schedules, coordinating other wave control and releases including ADHOC requests releasing/launch/Rework etc.
  • Maintaining overview of all automation systems, communicating to Operations and First line managers of issues and priorities.
  • Managing a team of x8 clerical clerks.

  • Strong Systems Experience is essential.
  • People Management experience is essential.
  • SAP & WMS experience is essential.
  • System oriented, automation experience is highly advantageous.
  • IT Literate in MS packages, enhanced excel knowledge.
