- WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Supervise and lead warehouse operatives during the shift, ensuring all picking, packing, loading, and dispatch activities run efficiently.
- Allocate and manage workloads to meet daily targets, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and on-time order fulfilment.
- Monitor warehouse performance and resolve operational issues such as delays, stock discrepancies, or equipment problems in real time.
- Ensure strict compliance with health & safety procedures, company policies, and warehouse operating standards at all times.
- Communicate with warehouse management and other departments at shift handover, providing updates on performance, issues, and completed tasks.
- THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a minimum of 12 month's experience supervising or leading a warehouse or logistics team.
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight operational deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations, ensuring full compliance and maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to operational issues under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate between warehouse staff, transport teams, and management to ensure smooth operations.
