We are looking for a Solutions Design Manager to join our dynamic team, where your proven expertise in designing and implementing innovative warehouse solutions will shine. As our go-to subject matter expert, you'll collaborate with diverse teams to create tailored solutions that not only meet customer needs but also drive DHL's growth agenda.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design Excellence: Deliver end-to-end manual and automated operational solutions, including advanced data analysis (expert use of MS Excel or Power BI), process flow development, equipment and technology selection, operational methodology definition, layout design (using AutoCAD or Sketch-Up), resource modelling, and detailed cost modelling.
- Digital by Default: create fully integrated, technology-led solutions that incorporate the latest technology, automation and robotics, whilst supported by senior managers.
- Lead with Impact: Effectively self-manage workload and timelines while demonstrating strong customer engagement. Influence stakeholders to gain operational buy-in through clear, compelling communication and proactive stakeholder management.
- Innovate: Leverage strong analytical and modelling skills to interpret and extrapolate data, solve complex problems, and develop original, value-adding concepts and solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Knowledge of divisional supply chain products and capabilities, with an understanding of DHL sectors, customers, and products.
- Expert user of MS Excel and Power BI with experience in modelling, extrapolating and interpreting data and using this to find solutions to problems and defining concepts.
- Experience of designing warehouse layout designs using AutoCAD and Sketch-Up.
- Understanding of the end-to-end supply chain operations process.
- Previous experience in a similar role for example, Solutions Design Manager, Warehouse Solutions Designer or Warehouse Layout Designer.
- Being able to break processes down into their individual elements and to look for ways to drive increased efficiency / improved service.
- Working in an environment, where you take ownership of your projects and manage stakeholders.
