WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist operational management by initiating, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and staff performance for your designated shift.
- Manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames and maintaining standards of excellence.
- Be responsible for Health and Safety across the operation, driving a Safety First Culture to keep all staff safe in the workplace.
- Support a continuous improvement programme to increase efficient and effective working practices within the operation.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Have proven people‑management experience within a warehouse environment, ideally in e‑commerce or other fast‑paced, high‑volume operations.
- Have experience managing next‑day or time‑critical order fulfilment processes.
- Possess a strong customer focus and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Be IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
