Step into a pivotal role with DHL Supply Chain as an Operations Manager – Fleet Services, where you'll drive performance, innovation, and efficiency at the heart of a national fleet operation. Leading the AMCoE Central Maintenance Control (CMC) and Central Rental Desk (CRD), you'll play a critical part in ensuring our fleet is safe, compliant, and operating at peak performance supporting world‑class logistics across the UK & Ireland.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Reviewing fleet‑wide performance across a 10,000‑asset operation, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to reduce the cost of maintenance and damage spend.
  • Leading and supporting multiple specialist teams including Call Handling, Technical, and Central Rental Desk operations.
  • Managing supplier performance and hosting robust review meetings, challenging service delivery and negotiating improved commercial outcomes.
  • Collaborating with senior internal stakeholders, including VP‑level engagement, to shape fleet strategy and resolve operational challenges.
  • Leading strategic decisions on fleet investment, including buy vs lease analysis, vehicle extensions, and procurement planning.
  • Driving continuous improvement and digital transformation across fleet services, enhancing efficiency through automation and smarter processes.
