Shift patterns: Monday – Friday Day shift, with flexibility around this
Location: Doncaster, DN3 3FF (Onsite full time, with one visit to Faverdale outbase each week)

We\’re now looking for a Transport Manager to take the helm of our daily transport operations!

WHAT YOU\’LL DO

• Optimise performance across all resources, KPI\’s and safety processes onsite
• Overseeing both a trunk and home delivery operation, ensuring efficient resource allocation and fleet management
• Lead, inspire and develop the operations team to reach their full potential
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the customer and customer-managed warehouse to enhance collaboration and service delivery
• Ensure compliance with safety records, regulations and company policies while promoting a culture of health and safety best practices
• Alongside managing the Doncaster operation, you will also be responsible for managing a small outbase in Faverdale which will require one visit per week

WHAT YOU\’LL BRING

• Demonstrated experience as a Transport Manager overseeing a large transport operation with a fleet of over 100 drivers
• Possession of an International Transport Manager CPC is essential
• Proven experience in engaging with unions and managing operations in a unionised environment
• A strong track record in team engagement and development, fostering a motivated and collaborative team
• Experience in change management and driving continuous improvement initiatives
