Night Class 1 Trunker Driver Pay Rate: £49,368.27 Grade: CA Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Tuesday to Sunday - Start times can vary anything between 7pm & midnight Location: EX5 1EW Think you know DHL? We're now looking for a Night Class 1 Trunker Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A typical day may involve:
- Driving a large wagon drag vehicle
- Collecting boxes and transporting from one site to another (empty and full) point of loading to sites
- You will start from the Bristol site and deliver to both Exeter and Newquay
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Regular completion of vehicle checks
- Manual handling of customer products
This role would suit people who:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
