We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our dynamic operation in Milton Keynes.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading and motivating a team, and is passionate about delivering exceptional results for our customers.

As a Team Leader, you'll play a key role in driving performance, ensuring operational excellence and supporting the development of your team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
  • Supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence
  • Track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level
  • Promote, adhere to and monitor Health and Safety requirements on site, including manual handling health and safety requirements
  • Conduct regular 121's, performance reviews, absence reviews and development conversations with the wider Operational team members
  • Support with absence cover for other Team Leaders within the operation
  • THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
  • Have previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment
  • Have comprehensive knowledge of warehousing – desirable
  • Have previous experience of preparation and distribution of volume orders
  • Are computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
  • Have excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Can lead by example and lead a team to successfully meet KPIs
  • Have previous MHE experience would be advantageous

Must be OK to work 50/50 (50% on the shop floor, 50% administration work).

Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7 (Sun - Thurs).
