We're now looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to plan, coordinate, manage and report upon the work activities of a team of Warehouse Colleagues. As a part of this role, you will be providing effective leadership, both team and individual motivation, and ensure all colleagues have the necessary training to carry out their role and development plans to work to throughout the year.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Implement Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS) program as a daily way to confirm behaviours and processes
- Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) of operational processes are up to date, available at the relevant places for employees and that employees are working according to the standard established
- Management of the daily operation to ensure we meet our commitments to both customers and our own internal processes.
- Maintaining the standards of OMS, Quality Management Systems and HSMS
- Demonstrate an active leadership style, taking full responsibility for driving an engagement culture in your area of responsibility.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse operations experience
- Proven track record in managing a team
- IT literate in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communicator - verbal and written
- Act independently without direct supervision
