DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst RTR to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

What does the role entail?
- Perform accounting processes in scope for a range of sites, customers or functions as directed like month end, reconciliations (i.e. Recs, Payroll Recs, Revenue Rec, etc.), fixed assets accounting etc.
- Regular engagement with site ops teams, Reporting team, Finance Business Partners and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes.
- Build deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to provide support for decision making.
- Effectively maintain period end and year end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scope.
- Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production.
- Provide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalations.
- Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management.
- Support change programmes.
- Ensure all standard accounting processes on and off system are followed identifying continuous improvement opportunities to the Reporting Manager.
- Manage individual workflow ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
- Ad hoc tasks as required, any other purchasing or operational admin related activities as required by the Controller or Manager.
What do we need from you?
- Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements.
- 2-3 Years experience of performing accounting in a logistics or similar industry would be a preference.
- Experience of using Oracle Cloud would be a preference.
- Effective time management skills.
- Clear, effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Flexible and resilient.
