DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Finance Manager (Controlling) to play a vital role in our new structure. You will manage the running of a controlled and efficient team within Indirect Overheads Controlling. Working within DPDHL guidelines to ensure your team complete all processes accurately and on time, and in an environment of continuous improvement. You will support the Indirect functions, working alongside non-finance senior team members to ensure reporting of performance and business partnering are delivered to a high standard, whilst also maintaining adequate controls, accuracy and efficiency for that function.
What does the role entail?
- Manage month-end processes and reporting results to multiple stakeholders
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and targets to identify trends and variances to budgets / forecasts
- Manage Indirect functions and development of wider Finance team
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple functions to ensure best practice
- Work closely with Functional leads and Cost Centre Managers in understanding key cost drivers
- Provide appropriate analysis and recommendations to influence key decisions
- Review key risks and identifying potential risks
- Ensure financial controls are robust and fit for purpose
- Support the Financial / Commercial teams
- Managing a team of up to 4
