DHL Air (UK) Ltd is the largest all-cargo air carrier in the UK, operating a fleet of B757-200, B767-300 and B777-200 aircraft on worldwide operations. Part of the DHL Express team with our headquarters at East Midlands Airport, we wish to enhance the team to deliver our customer promise of; Excellence, Simply Delivered.
We are now looking to recruit additional B1 Aircraft Engineers to join our Maintenance team based at EMA.
The Role: The successful candidate will hold a UK issued B1 licence with experience of some of the following types; B757 RB211, A300-600, B767 CF6, B777 GE90 and A330 RR Trent. Reporting to the Station Supervisor, you will be a member of a team responsible for the safe and timely maintenance of the DHL fleet. As a B1 Aircraft Engineer you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with regulatory airworthiness standards for all contracted airlines operating for DHL within DHL Air (UK) Ltd area of responsibility. This is a vital job in ensuring that the aircraft remain serviceable and depart on time whilst minimizing the number of carried forward defects.
The Requirements:
- A Licenced Aircraft Engineer with proven experience.
- You will be self-motivated, organised and have the ability to prioritise your own workload.
- You will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- The ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines is essential.
