We are now looking for a Transport Manager to take the helm of our daily transport operations! In this pivotal role, you will lead our dynamic team to achieve excellence and drive success throughout our transport network.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Take the Lead: Oversee our daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to our customers.
- Innovate & Optimise: Develop and implement transport strategies that enhance efficiency and drive success.
- Ensure Safety: Uphold the highest safety standards and compliance regulations, creating a safe and secure workplace for everyone.
- Team Builder: Develop, engage and inspire your team, creating an environment where every colleague can do their best.
- Analyse & Improve: Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Previous and practical experience as a Transport Manager within a logistics / 3PL environment.
- Comprehensive use of All Microsoft packages - Mircolise & Tachomaster.
- CPC National / International holder – Essential.
- Previous experience of distribution of volume orders.
- Ability to manage, organise and develop direct reports.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
