We\’re now looking for a Warehouse First Line manager to work the Days Shift

Role Purpose:

As a Days First Line Manager at DHL Supply Chain, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse colleagues during night operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of goods. You will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence, driving performance, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU\\\’LL DO

  • Health & Safety Leadership: Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring all activities comply with DHL\’s health and safety standards and legal requirements.
  • People Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse operatives to achieve performance targets. Manage attendance, conduct reviews, and support employee engagement.
  • Retail & Food Sector Experience: Apply your knowledge of retail and food logistics to manage temperature-controlled environments, product integrity, and customer expectations.
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Utilise WMS to monitor performance, track inventory, and ensure accurate reporting. Troubleshoot system issues and support training for team members.
  • Foster Collaboration: Build a strong team culture that values communication, accountability and teamwork. Together, we\\\’ll achieve great results!

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or FLM role, ideally within retail or food logistics.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and best practices
  • Effective leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Ability to work night shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
