A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Produce and maintain both Strategic plans ensuring optimal solutions are achieved from both a cost and service level perspective.
- Significant personal contribution towards optimisation activities that drive cost down solutions without affecting service levels.
- Data Analysis to forecast future and retrospective volumes to assess impact to freight plans.
- Investigate operational challenges & data discrepancies and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Co-ordinate the planning solution activity, meeting both the customer & DHL business needs.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Operational / Freight Planning Background is Essential.
- Ensure all planning is executed within parameters of customer services levels.
- Experience with Paragon or other planning systems would be desirable.
- Good knowledge of Data Analysis.
- IT Literacy, With Microsoft Office Packages, Excel.
