Responsibilities
- A typical day may involve a mixture of driving and shunting, and you must be prepared to fulfil shunting needs when required.
- Move stock around the RDC, dropping and swapping trailers.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers\’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Comply with health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
Who this role would suit
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Must have own transportation to site as there are no public transport routes.
- Must be happy to shunt on site when required.
