We are looking for a Transport Compliance Manager to work for one of our sites in West Midlands.
A Typical Day May Involve:
- Manage compliance for a large-scale network fleet of 30+ trailers, inbound fleet of 100–150 at peak.
- Ensure all vehicles, trailers, boxes and shunter units meet legal, servicing and MOT requirements.
- Oversee driver compliance including hours, infringements and Working Time Directive adherence.
- Lead and support one compliance administrator, managing all compliance-related administration and LGV fleet repairs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and support other sites to uphold compliance and health & safety standards.
This Role Would Suit People Who Have:
- Proven experience managing an LGV fleet in a fast-paced transport operation, with strong knowledge of transport regulations, driver hours and working time directive.
- CPC Transport Manager (International) qualification is essential along with a solid understanding of Health and Safety compliance.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with resilience and tenacity to drive compliance and continuous improvement.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with drivers and operational teams, and manage conflicting priorities effectively.
- Confident using IT systems including Microsoft Office, Tachomaster and Key2.
