DHL, an award‑winning leader in supply chain, is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst RTR to join our Finance team in Coventry. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting the smooth running of day‑to‑day accounting processes across the operation. Our Finance team goes far beyond traditional number‑crunching. We work closely with the wider business, using data to understand performance, spot trends, and support informed decision‑making. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of that – working with financial data, supporting core processes, and steadily building your commercial understanding in a fast‑paced environment.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Perform Controlling processes in scope for the respective site/customer such as Reporting, Analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting.
  • Regular engagement with Accounting team, BU teams and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes.
  • Build deep business knowledge in your speciality to provide support for decision making.
  • Effectively maintain Budget, forecast and reporting schedules for the customer/sites in scope.
  • Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production.
  • Participate in process improvement workshops and activities.
  • Provide regular updates to the Controlling Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalations.
  • Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management.
  • Support change programmes.
  • Ensure all Controlling processes on and off system are followed, identifying continuous improvement opportunities for the controlling Manager.
  • Manage individual workflow, ensuring agreed deadlines are met.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements – strong month‑end experience essential.
  • 2‑3 years of experience performing accounting in a logistics or similar industry would be a preference.
  • Experience of using Oracle Cloud would be a preference.
  • Effective time‑management skills.
  • Clear, effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Flexible and resilient.
