We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Delivering chilled, ambient and frozen goods to store.
- On Sundays, you will either be trunking DC to DC or shunting in the yard.
- Driving both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles.
- Areas delivering to include all South Wales and South West, edges of London, Portsmouth and Southampton.
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Complying with health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations.
- Regular completion of vehicle checks.
- Manual handling will be required for this role.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Have at least 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience
