We're now looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to lead our operations and drive success. Think you know DHL? Think again! We're not just about delivering parcels. Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm or 9am - 5pm
Location: Avonmouth BS35 4GH

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and manage the daily warehouse ecommerce operation, ensuring a safe, secure, clean, and fair working environment for all team members.
- Supervise and coordinate shift activities to achieve operational targets and service levels.
- Promote effective communication across shifts and with other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Drive high levels of team performance and deliver strong operational results (EOS/KPI targets).
- Champion employee engagement, motivation, and team development.
- Manage disciplinary, absence, and grievance matters in line with company HR policies and procedures.
- Monitor and control MHE (Material Handling Equipment) usage to minimise damage and ensure safe operation, including carrying out regular spot checks.
- Ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ecommerce operational processes.
- Communicate, implement, and enforce company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse and DHL operational sites to share best practices and improve efficiencies.
- Support operational flexibility by working across shift patterns within a 24/7 warehouse environment when required.
- Maintain high professional standards of personal presentation, hygiene, and conduct at all times.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role as required by management.
