Responsibilities:
- Identifying and implementing the most reliable and cost-effective freight solutions for the contract for their European transport activity.
- Liaise with the DHL LLP carrier base.
- Collaborate closely with other DHL LLP teams.
- Carry out ongoing carrier research to identify potential new carriers.
- Provide support to EU procurement managers on strategic re-plans, contingency planning and benchmarking.
- Maintain team's documents - rate matrix, route profiles, RAS's etc.
- Implement all required day-to-day changes to collection network while taking into account cost, service level, risk, and customer's perspective.
- Identify improvements to routes.
Qualifications:
- Possess strong Excel skills, including experience with formulas, VLOOKUPs and XLOOKUPs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
- Comfortable working with data and producing accurate results.
- Ideally have exposure to European transport or experience working in a similar environment (desirable, not essential).
