Finance Analyst RtR Controlling in Bircotes

DHL is a global supply chain leader offering a dynamic and rewarding environment. In this role, you will play a vital part in the Finance function, carrying out all accounting processes for the assigned operation and providing analysis and insights that support business decisions.,

• Perform controlling processes for the site/customer: month-end, reporting, and analysis.
• Engage regularly with site ops teams, reporting team, BU FCs, and shared services to obtain inputs and outputs for common processes.
• Develop deep business knowledge of the customer/sites to support decision-making.
• Maintain period-end and year-end closing schedules and ensure finance processes are adhered to for accurate, timely reporting.
• Update the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution, and escalations.
• Deliver processes within agreed KPI requirements and support performance management.
• Manage individual workflow and meet deadlines.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks and other purchasing or operational admin as required.
• 1-2 years of finance experience.
• Strong Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
• Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements.
• Clear, effective communication and teamwork ability.
• Experience in accounting within logistics or a similar industry (desirable).
