We're now looking for a 3.5 Tonne Van Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Deliver uniform to Police Stations in London on a daily basis.
- Make five deliveries per day on set routes – boxes, totes and hanging rails.
- Drive safely in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Comply with health and safety standards, the Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
- Regularly complete vehicle checks.
- Manual handling of customer products.
- Have experience driving daily in the London area.
- Be used to manual handling of totes and boxes.
- Undergo a DBS check before employment commences.
- Follow safe system of work and delivery procedures.
- Hold a valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Have a minimum of 12 months recent 3.5 tonne van driving experience.
- Be used to operating vehicle tail lifts.
