- Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
- Shift patterns: 40 hour working week, Monday to Friday, 07:45-16:15 with a 30 minute unpaid break
- Location: HMP Leyhill, GL12 8BT
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a prison. You will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process if you are to be successful for this position.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Leading a group of prisoners in a warehouse environment, whilst also being hands on with warehouse operations such as goods in, dispatch, order processing
- Reconciling stock levels within the warehouse operation (based on-site at the prison)
- Managing the delivery of accurate and timely dispatch of orders to the inmates
- Ensuring operational targets are met and exceeded
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Can provide three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)
- This role requires existing right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available
- Are comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside inmates
- Have good communication skills
- Have a good understanding of warehouse processes - but it’s not a deal breaker as we will provide full training!
- Have their own or dependable transport for the shift times as the site is remote
