Pay Rate: £26,919 per annum + overtime for some hours

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time), 40 hour working week
Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7 (including working weekends), must be able to work an 8 hour shift anytime between 8am-8pm (08:00-20:00)

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a prison. You will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process if you are to be successful for this position.
At DHL, we manage the stock levels, customer services and distribution of orders in a convenience store environment inside the prison. We’re now looking for a Retail Shop Team Leader who will play an integral role in the prisoners' lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of prisoners working in a convenience store environment.
- Manage stock levels to ensure consistent product availability for inmates.
- Oversee the shop floor and support inmates with any store-related queries.
- Ensure operational targets are consistently met and exceeded.
Qualifications
- Can provide three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance).
- Are comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside inmates.
- Have a good understanding of warehouse and/or retail processes - but it’s not a deal breaker as we will provide full training!
- Have good communication skills.
