We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join a fast-paced logistics operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader to take ownership of night shift operations and drive performance within a high-volume warehouse environment. As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will play a key role in supporting operational management by overseeing all warehousing activities during your shift. You will be responsible for ensuring productivity, efficiency, and safety while maintaining exceptional service standards.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Leading and managing the performance of your shift team, including First Line Managers
- Monitoring and improving productivity by clearly communicating expectations and tracking output
- Overseeing stock movement and control to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Ensuring all operational deadlines are met safely and within agreed timeframes
- Using in-house digital systems to track and trace orders, maintaining accurate records
- Supporting recruitment and identifying training needs, ensuring compliance with company policies
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previous experience as a Shift Manager, ideally within warehousing or logistics
- Proven experience managing teams, including First Line Managers (FLMs)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Desirable: Experience working within a 3PL (third‑party logistics) environment
