Pay Rate: £13.72 per hour (£11,775.50 per annum)
Contract Type: Permanent - 16.5 hours per week
Shift patterns: Thursdays @ Risley Warrington 13:00 - 17:00, Fridays @ Risley Warrington 13:00 - 17:00 and Saturdays @ Liverpool 08:00 - 17:00
Location: HMP Risley and HMP Liverpool - YOU MUST BE ABLE TO COVER BOTH SITES TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a prison. You will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process if you are to be successful for this position.
At DHL, we manage the picking, packing and distribution of orders for inmates who have the opportunity to order basic goods.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Working on the prison wing, distributing orders accurately and on time to each inmate
- Loading and unloading vehicles when orders arrive at the prison
- Complying with prison rules and regulations
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Can provide three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)
- Are comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside inmates
- Are able to work in a role that requires manual handling and regular heavy lifting
- Have good communication skills
- Must have own transport to be able to commute to both locations
