WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE WITH COUNTERBALANCE FLT LICENSE

Pay Rate: £26,649.63 (basic £24,869.63 + shift allowance £1,780). Potential to earn an annual bonus of £1,300.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full‑time).

Shift Patterns: Rotational day shift pattern – 06:00‑14:00 or 10:00‑18:00. The role includes an out‑of‑hours "on‑call rota" one week in every four, with an additional payment of £157.50 per on‑call week.

Location: Warrington – WA4 4SN.

A drug & alcohol screening will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.

What the role entails:

  • Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
  • Pick and pack specified items from storage and prepare them for shipment.

Requirements:

  • Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative within a logistics environment or similar role and familiarity with all Manual Handling Procedures.
  • Counterbalance FLT licence is essential.
  • Reach FLT experience would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous experience of preparing and distributing volume orders.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
  • Experience with Manual Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Own transport.
