PLEASE NOTE: This role is based inside a prison and involves working alongside serving offenders. You will be required to pass enhanced security vetting as part of the recruitment process.
This isn't a standard warehouse role. At DHL Supply Chain, we run warehouse operations inside prisons supporting the HMPPS Canteen Service. This service allows offenders to use their own money to buy approved items such as food, toiletries and everyday essentials - with our teams responsible for picking, packing and distributing these orders within the prison.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Work inside a prison, leading and working alongside offenders in a warehouse
- Hands on role - picking, packing and manual handling (up to 20kg)
- Keep stock accurate and the operation running smoothly
- Work at pace when needed and stay organised
- Working as a team to make sure targets are met
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

- Comfortable working inside a prison, alongside offenders
- Have 3 years UK address history (required for security clearance)
