  • What You’ll Do
  • Co‑ordinate and lead the work activities of the shift, providing effective leadership, communication, motivation, training and development, and team management for the workforce.
  • Manage staff on shift to drive a culture of high performance, positive engagement, and the highest standards of safety and productivity.
  • Ensure that team performance reviews, development, and succession planning are completed for all staff on shift.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Work in collaboration with other DHL sites and suppliers to maximise efficiencies and best practice.
  • Organise and lead efforts to improve productivity levels. Operate as process owners with authority to identify and make improvements.
  • Execute against customer requirements and operational KPIs, produce end‑of‑shift analysis and provide data on achievements and issues.
  • Ensure operational service levels are met and exceeded through achievement of operational KPIs.
  • Work closely with Senior Management to enable the site to deliver on expectations and maximise opportunities for further development.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policy and processes.
  • Actively work alongside direct and indirect internal and external stakeholders.
  • Role Suitability
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment and managing a team.
  • Strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing.
  • Strategic mindset and passion for problem‑solving.
  • Natural leader with excellent communication skills, able to inspire and engage the team.
