DHL is seeking an experienced First Line Manager to oversee our complex operations in a temperature-controlled, three-chamber warehouse. This is a challenging but rewarding role, perfect for someone with a strong background in warehouse management.

WHAT YOU WOULD DO?

  • Performance Monitoring: Assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance metrics in your designated area.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate productivity by clearly communicating job expectations to your 16 direct reports, ensuring that all deadlines are met safely and efficiently while upholding our high standards of excellence.
  • Order Tracking: Utilize our digital in-house tracking software to monitor and trace orders, ensuring accurate record-keeping and optimal operational efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve warehouse performance and productivity.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Proven experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in a warehouse or logistics environment, particularly in temperature-controlled settings.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain practices and warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.
  • Experience in preparing and distributing high-volume orders effectively.
  • Proficient in logistics software and computer systems, with the ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a track record of training and developing team members.
  • Looking for candidates with investigation/disciplinary experience to manage a large team.
  • Experience in delivering performance.
  • Ok to work 4 on 4 off.
  • Ok to work 6:00 - 18:00.
  • Will manage up to 20 warehouse operatives.
  • Ok to work in a 3 chamber environment.
