To succeed in this role, you should have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrable understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods, dispatching orders, and tracking transportation vehicles.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Assist Operational Management by managing and generating shipping requirements for distribution routes, from warehouse to end-user, maintaining precise and up-to-date performance reports for your designated shift.
  • Manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames while maintaining standards of excellence.
  • Track and trace shipping orders using digital in-house tracking software, ensuring compliance with legislation and proper record-keeping.
  • Monitor recruitment levels and initiate staff training as required, keeping up-to-date records in line with company policies.
