Shift patterns: Monday to Thursday, 39 Hours per week, 07:00AM to 15:30PM & Friday 07:00AM to 14:30PM

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Take the Lead: Oversee our daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to our customers.
  • Responsible for leading the planning and coordination of all inbound, outbound and inter-site transport activities across the Aston Martin contract, ensuring the safe, cost-effective and efficient movement of materials and finished goods.
  • The role is accountable for delivering transport operations in line with customer requirements, production schedules and service level agreements, whilst driving continuous improvement, maintaining compliance, managing carrier performance, and leading a team to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage relationships with transport providers and carriers, monitoring performance against agreed KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Transport Planning team, promoting a high-performance culture and ensuring appropriate succession planning.
  • Work collaboratively with Customer, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Inventory and Operations teams to proactively manage transport risks and support business objectives.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Proven planning experience within the automotive supply chain sector.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including advanced use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience in carrier management and logistics coordination.
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting capabilities, with experience using Power BI and other analytical tools.
  • Previous leadership experience in a Planning Manager/Planning Leader role, with responsibility for driving operational performance and team success.
