Shift patterns: Monday–Friday rotating shifts 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 1pm-9pm.
Location: Dunelm Distribution Centre, Stoke On Trent ST4 4EX.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Planning and coordinating for 184 stores daily transport schedules to meet operational and customer requirements.
- Communicating with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to manage changes, delays, or issues.
- Optimising routes, loads, and vehicle utilisation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Allocating vehicle and trailer resources to plan and allocate driver resources to the plan.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Enjoy working in a fast‑paced, operational environment and can prioritise effectively.
- Communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders and work well as part of a team.
- Have a strong attention to detail and previous transport experience.
- Have good geographical knowledge and experience with backhaul.
- Have experience with Paragon and also good knowledge of driver hours.
