Base pay range Grade: L Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Location: Walsall – WS2 7PT DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transport Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will: Reporting to the Regional General Manager, your role will hold full accountability for service and delivery as well as strategic development of the Transport Department Implement and manage transport TMS Lead and develop the Transport Team Investigate / implement DHL initiatives through the Transport division to drive value for the Customer and DHL Network integration of deliveries to optimise cost savings and unlock synergie Deploy resource to ensure maximum service levels adherence with minimal cost impact Analysis of any special delivery requests and detail impact of changes to the Network and costings WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
