Pay Rate: £27,371.81 + Night Shift allowance

Grade: P

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off Shift rotation 18:00 – 06:00

Location: Allington – ME16 0LE

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking an experienced Transport Clerk to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of all transport scheduled activities.

What does the role entail?

As part of your duties, while maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

1. Manage customer proof of deliveries for scanning/uploading and action missing proof of deliveries and returns.
2. Conduct daily briefings and de-briefings of drivers.
3. Ensure compliance with all Company Health & Safety policies and report concerns/issues to senior management promptly.
4. Support all aspects of the Transport Operation.
5. Monitor drivers\’ schedules on route using Microlise and follow escalation procedures as required.

1. Experience working in a fast-moving transport operation.
2. Attention to detail and accuracy.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
4. Experience with Tachomaster and Microlise.
5. Knowledge of Legal Compliance and WTD.
6. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally.
