DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service.
What does the role entail?
- Start times available between 06:00 - 11:00 - average shift length 12-13 hours.
- Hourly rate Days £16.95, Night rate £18.81 paid between 18:00-06:00 and extra premiums for Saturday £1.36 per hour and Sunday £2.54 per hour.
- Nationwide RDC bay delivery work and backhauls, supplier collections - curtain sided trailer work.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
What do we need from you?
- You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Have a minimum of 6 months LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) 'on the road' commercial driving experience and have curtain sided trailer experience.
- Ideally have RDC delivery experience.
- Live locally to Tamworth.
