DHL, an award‑winning supply chain business, is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service. Shift pattern is fixed Wednesday to Sunday.
What Does the Role Entail?
- Start times available between 02:00–04:00, average shift length 12–13 hours
- Hourly rate: Days £16.95; Night rate £18.81 (paid between 18:00–06:00) with extra premiums for Saturday (£1.36 per hour) and Sunday (£2.54 per hour)
- Nationwide RDC bay delivery work, backhauls, supplier collections – curtain‑sided trailer work
- Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with HGV health and safety standards, The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
What Do We Need From You?
- Valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) ‘on the road’ commercial driving experience with curtain‑sided trailer experience
- Ideally RDC delivery experience
- Live locally to Tamworth
