Based in Stoke on Trent, this is a full-time permanent position with DHL Supply Chain. The salary is £30,237 per annum. Shift patterns are Monday to Friday, weekly rotating 07:00–15:00, 10:00–18:00, and 14:00–22:00 (flexibility required). Location: Stoke on Trent ST4 4EX.
DHL, an award-winning leader in supply chain and logistics, is seeking an experienced transport planner to play a vital role in ensuring continuous improvement of planning processes within the transport department. The successful candidate will maintain excellent health and safety practices while planning pallet movements for 200 stores, 100 suppliers, and outlet bases using Paragon software.
Responsibilities:- Receive data CSV files and import them into the Transport Management System.
- Plan using Paragon software for 200 stores, 100 suppliers and outbases.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Communicate at all levels, internally and externally, with excellent people skills.
- Transport planning and scheduling experience is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of planning principles and Paragon planning software.
- Excellent IT skills, including Excel and pivot tables.
- A strong team player with an eye for detail and a flexible approach.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the UK.
