What You’ll Do
- Effective day to day ownership of the allocated shift within the Delphi Borgwarner operation
- Conduct monthly 1-2-1’s and performance reviews with your team
- Communicate out timely reports of KPI’s reporting completing handover reports at the end of each shift
- Ensure Compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Accountable for briefing and training the team with regard to any procedural or process changes and ensuring that the required level of checks and balances are in place
- Communicate productivity, profitability targets to your team ensuring they have a clear understanding of what is expected of them
- Ensure adequate safety monitoring processes are in place to promote safety first culture
- Ensure regular checks are carried out of all MHE, Safety equipment and WI care points
This Role Would Suit People Who
- Previous warehouse management experience (First Line Manager or above) is essential
- Supervisory skills - managing individual performance, absenteeism, conflict and development
- Excellent communications skills - Verbal and written
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- A hands-on approach, ready to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenges head-on and in the right way
- System knowledge would be beneficial (Blue Yonder), Microsoft packages
- Smart time knowledge/experience would be beneficial
- Ability to execute site plans efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
