We're now looking for a Stock Controller to manage inventory control of customers' stock in an excise warehouse, ensuring accurate reporting of physical stock through stock counting and reconciliation via host systems Aurora and Calidus-Browser and full transparency of stock movements including returns.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Accuracy of customer's physical stock against host systems' status in terms of numbers and date criteria.
- Fully compliant with HMRC legislation in terms of warehouse keeper responsibilities.
- Understanding all areas that impact stock loss.
- Customer returns.
- Using initiative and knowing when to elevate potential issues.
- Counting and reconciling.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Have analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Possess good reporting skills.
- Have excellent IT skills - Power BI, WMS system, etc.
- Have previous stock control experience within a warehouse environment.
