We're now looking for a Trainer
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Delivering engaging training sessions to new and existing colleagues across the warehouse operation.
- Conducting training in line with current legislation, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
- Designing, implementing and delivering operational training programmes, including equipment and process training.
- Supporting the onboarding and induction of new starters, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to perform their roles safely and effectively.
- Delivering mandatory, compliance and refresher training across the site.
- Assessing training effectiveness and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintaining accurate training records and ensuring all colleagues remain compliant with required certifications and standards.
- Coaching and supporting colleagues on best practices, safe working procedures and operational excellence.
- Remaining fully conversant with company rules, regulations, procedures and policies, reporting any breaches where appropriate.
- Acting as a role model by displaying a professional image and promoting a positive learning culture.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Have previous experience within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment.
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence colleagues at all levels.
- Are passionate about developing others and helping colleagues achieve their full potential.
- Have strong organisational skills and can manage multiple training priorities effectively.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying training needs and driving continuous improvement.
- Have good IT literacy, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
- Previous experience delivering training within an operational environment (preferred)
- Hold a recognised Train the Trainer qualification or training certification (essential).
- Have experience delivering MHE training, warehouse systems training or operational process training (desirable).
- Have a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a warehouse environment
