A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Responsible for monitoring and updating of supplier volumes and booking of associated transport with a view to identifying and creating cost savings by creating co-loads and general Dynamic Planning logic.
- Monitor and update supplier volumes on daily basis to look for possible cost savings via use of co-loads or part load cost reductions.
- Support Dynamic and Agile Teams by arranging own co-loads and supporting other team members.
- Maintain relationships in order to meet program, transit and cost requirements.
- Provide support to Planning Team to advise of any Planning concerns which may cause any risk to customer production.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Have an Operational Planning Background.
- Are IT Literate, with Microsoft Office Packages, Excel.
- Experience with OTM would be beneficial.
- Ideally have experience within Freight / Automotive.
