A Warehouse Shift Manager will lead, motivate, and develop a high‑performing team while ensuring efficient, accurate, and customer‑focused warehouse operations in a fast‑paced, time‑critical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist operational management by initiating, monitoring, and reporting on the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and staff performance for your designated shift.
  • Manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames and maintaining standards of excellence.
  • Responsible for Health and Safety across the operation and drive a Safety First Culture, ensuring all staff are safe within the workplace at all times.
  • Support a continuous improvement programme to increase efficient and effective working practices within the operation.

Qualifications

  • Proven people‑management experience within a warehouse environment, ideally in e‑commerce or other fast‑paced, high‑volume operations.
  • Experience managing next‑day or time‑critical order fulfilment processes.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
